At Blindsmith, we make up to a size of 2999mm wide, with a 3000mm drop. We can create blinds larger than this, but keep in mind that large blinds are heavy, and could strain your hardware or window frames. We recommend splitting blinds for larger windows into two sections. This will also make them easier to operate and clean.

You can have your roller blinds as either front or reverse roll. Front roll blinds roll toward you, leaving a big enough gap between the window and the blind for the handle to sit comfortably underneath. These look seamless and modern.
A reverse roll blind rolls towards the window, so the fabric sits very close to the glass. You will see the roll at the top when you’re inside the room. They can look very homely and rustic.
We custom-make all our blinds onsite in our Auckland premises to ensure the highest quality and perfect fit. It takes us between 10-15 working days to complete your order, but if your order is particularly large it may take a bit longer. We’re happy to discuss timing with you and see what we can do to help.
Of course! If you live in Auckland and don’t want to pay the courier or installation fee for your blinds, you can pick them up from our premises.
We’re happy to help! We only do repairs on blinds purchased from Blindsmith, so if your blinds come from another manufacturer, you’ll need to contact them about repairs.

We therefore guarantee our blinds against defects in workmanship and materials. Blindsmith provides a 2-year warranty on aluminium and vertical blinds and 5-year warranty on all other blinds with the following conditions:
+ This warranty is only valid if the blinds have been fully paid for;
+ This warranty is not transferrable;
+ Proof of purchase must be presented for the warranty claim to be valid.
The warranty does not cover:
+ Misuse, incorrect installation or accidental damage of the blinds by the user;
+ Normal wear and tear;
+ Wooden Venetian blinds installed in damp areas;
+ Variations in wooden grain, wood stain or paint;
+ Slight variation in fabric shade and texture that may occur from batch to batch of materials;
+ Failure on the part of the customer to take proper care of the blinds;
+ Blinds that are outside our standard maximum sizing.
WARRANTY CLAIM REQUIREMENTS
+ For blinds installed by the customer, the blinds must be returned to Blindsmith at the customer’s cost;
+ Blindsmith may replace components or fabrics with new components or fabrics, and the customer accepts that new components or fabrics may differ (both visually and in terms of function) to those originally purchased by the customer.
